Partnership for education and employment in Dolj county

Between November 8th-11th, 2016, the Adina Stiftelsen Foundation together with the representatives of the organizations Stiftelsen Kirkens Bymisjon Bergen and Adina Stiftelsen Bergen from Norway implemented the study visit within the project “Partnership for education and employment in Dolj county”

The project, financed by the EEA Financial Mechanism and the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2009-2014 from the Fund for bilateral relations at the national level, Program RO01 – Technical Assistance and the Bilateral Fund at the National Level, has as its general objective the consolidation and expansion of collaboration between the three partner organizations.

The activities carried out contributed to the fulfillment of specific objectives in terms of cooperation for development, growth and mutual understanding between partners:

Two meetings with representatives of local authorities and schools in Goiești and Fărcaș communes to discuss the difficulties of young people with social problems and their parents; about employment possibilities for young people supported through educational programs and to explore the possibility of expanding the base of cooperation in an extended formula NGOs and local authorities. The Norwegian EMPO and V13 concepts were introduced in general terms, as well as entrepreneurship models currently implemented in Norway.
A meeting with the representatives of the Dolj County Resource and Educational Assistance Center (CJRAE) to lay the foundations for a partnership for education and parental guidance http://cjraedolj.ro
Trips to communities: visits to families and visits to local entrepreneurs (I.I. Gheorghe Ionelia Ecaterina and S.C. Ancy Production S.R.L.) for a better understanding of the socio-economic context in Romania.
The study visit provided ample opportunities for all participants to get to know each other better, to promote the EEA Financial Mechanisms, to share ideas for potential projects and to outline the steps to follow in future joint projects.
